 | Big Day with Bat: Clark 5-6 Monday, April 23rd, 2012: The Washington State Cougars upended the Ole Miss Rebels at Tribe Ballpark today in large part to third baseman John Clark, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and help propel the Cougars to a 18-9 victory. John Clark singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Sean Martin in the 8th. This season Clark is swinging the bat at a .287 rate with 25 hits in 87 at-bats. To date he has hit 3 home runs, scored 13 runs and driven in 8. |   |
