 | Williams and Flores Suspended, Out 4 Games Sunday, April 15th, 2012: Sam Williams of the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Roberto Flores of the Rice Owls will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended 4 games apiece by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Bulldogs-Owls game at Crowley College Grounds.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Williams and Flores will begin serving them soon.
So far this season Williams has hit .246 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and and scored 11 times.
This season Flores has been credited with no saves in 9 relief appearances. In 7.1 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, 6.14 ERA and 7 strikeouts |   |
