 | Santos Gets Shutout Thursday, April 12th, 2012: "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the UCLA manager after his club suffered a 4-0 shutout at the hands of Iván Santos of the Arizona Wildcats. He held the UCLA Bruins scoreless in a 5-hit whitewash. Santos was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 8 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Iván did a whale of a pitching job." |   |
