 | 5-Hit Game for Rogers Tuesday, April 10th, 2012: It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ben Rogers. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Rogers went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Oregon pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Red Wings Ballpark, he had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Arizona Wildcats had a 17-0 victory over the Ducks. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Ben Rogers hit a three-run home run off Kelvin Key in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Rogers is batting .578 this season in 10 games with 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 45 at-bats. |   |
