 | Swing! Swang! Swung! Muddiah Smashes 3 HR Monday, April 9th, 2012: Bigger paychecks might be in the offing, if Ramgopal Muddiah continues to hit like he did today against the Aggies. The Long Beach State left fielder crushed three into the stands at Sooners Ballpark in a remarkable performance, propelling the 49'ers to a 19-6 win over Texas A&M. He tagged 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 6 runs and scored 3 times. Speaking to writers after the game, he said, "It was just one of those days when you got something to hit and did something with it." The Texas A&M skipper agreed with him. "We made three mistakes and he made us pay each time." Ramgopal Muddiah hit a two-run home run off Roy Walden in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Sean Bergeron in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bryan Waddell in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year Muddiah is batting .273 with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |   |
