 | League Suspends Kaiser and Bermúdez for Fisticuffs Sunday, April 8th, 2012: Bad blood could be brewing between the Bulldogs and the Demon Deacans. In yesterday's contest at Field of the Plunder, Georgia's Tom Kaiser and Wake Forest's Luis Bermúdez caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Kaiser and Bermúdez were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 7 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. Kaiser is hitting .071 this year with no home runs and 0 RBIs.
