 | League Suspends Elliott and Bancroft for Brawl Thursday, April 5th, 2012: Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Bears Scott Elliott and the Aggies Nathan Bancroft as both benches cleared during the fracas at Wolverines Stadium. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Scott Elliott and Nathan Bancroft will each have to sit out 5-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. In the current season, Elliott has put up a .444 batting average with 8 hits, no home runs, 2 runs batted in and scored 4 runs. |   |
