 | League Punishes Pair for Fighting Tuesday, May 21st, 2013: The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Ballpark of Bloomfield College have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Robert Franklin of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Joe Sexton of the Vanderbilt Commodores. So far this year Franklin is batting .284 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This year Sexton has worked 42.1 innings with 43 strikeouts en route to a 1-6 record and 6.80 ERA. |   |
