 | Hall 5-5 Against North Carolina Monday, May 20th, 2013: 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Curt Hall of the Iowa State Cyclones had a sensational 5-5 game against North Carolina at Bruisers Ballpark. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 7-6 shellacking of the Tar Heels. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off... Right, skipper?" Curt Hall singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and walked in the 11th. Hall on the season is batting .350 with 9 home runs. His totals include 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 35 games. |   |
