 | Ugly Incident Ends in 5-Game Suspension Sunday, May 19th, 2013: Tennessee will not have the services of third baseman Wynn LeBlanc for several days. The league commissioner has suspended him for 5 games for arguing a third strike call. The altercation occurred in yesterday's contest with the Georgia Bulldogs and involved the home plate umpire. Riled up by being called out, LeBlanc slightly shoved him after he was ejected. In baseball it is taboo to touch an umpire.
So far this year in 19 games LeBlanc is hitting .294 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 4 runs scored. | |
