 | Hitting Streak Still Alive for Griffin Wednesday, May 15th, 2013: At Suns Ballpark today Houston second baseman Matt Griffin stretched his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit against the Stanford Cardinals. However, the Cougars came up short on the scoreboard and lost the game 4-1. Matt Griffin doubled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Thus far this season Griffin has hit .289 with no home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 28 times. |   |
