 | LSU-Texas Brawl, Conner and Muñóz Suspended Sunday, May 5th, 2013: Tempers were flaring yesterday at South Paris College Grounds. Both the Tigers and Longhorns were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, LSU's Ed Conner and Texas's Luis Muñóz were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Conner and Muñóz for 5 games each. A look at his current stats shows Conner with a .254 average, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has played in 18 games. Season-to-date Muñóz has no saves in 11 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 8.74 ERA. |   |
