 | Carrasco on Fire, 5-6 Against Long Beach State Saturday, May 4th, 2013: Houston defeated Long Beach State today at Ballpark of Macclenny College. The highlight of the game was center fielder Lorenzo Carrasco. His hitting heroics included a 5-6 day, paving the way for a Cougars 15-5 triumph over the 49'ers. Lorenzo Carrasco singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Watts in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Carrasco is presently hitting at a .330 pace with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 24 times. |   |
