 | Lee Sizzles -- Smokes Tigers for 5 Hits Saturday, May 4th, 2013: If just anyone could go out and hit a baseball, big dollar contracts wouldn't exist. But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. At Magistrates Ballpark James Lee showed how it's done as he went 5 for 5 against the Clemson Tigers. However this great day with the bat didn't pay off in a victory. The Ohio State Buckeyes fell 11-6. The manager of the Tigers told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames. Luckily we came away with a win today. Lee just didn't get enough help." If Lee keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. James Lee hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Rafael Miranda in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This year Lee is hitting .306 with 4 home runs. |   |
