 | 5 Hits for Bulldogs Bond Tuesday, April 30th, 2013: The scorebook looked great for Roosevelt Bond, but it looked dismal for his team, the Fresno State Bulldogs. The 21-year-old left fielder had a great day at the plate with 5 hits, but his team went down to defeat. The California Golden Bears whipped them 16-15 today at Prisoners Ballpark. Roosevelt Bond singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Bryan Powell in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Mal Miller in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Bond has hit at a .290 pace and produced 30 RBIs, 9 home runs and scored 24 runs. |   |
