 | RDL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, April 22nd, 2013: The top batter in the Rod Dedeaux League last week was Bob Hayes, who batted .500 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage. During the week Hayes banged out a .500 batting average (14-28), 4 home runs, 12 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. Today the Louisiana-Layfayette left fielder received the RDL Player of the Week Award. This year Hayes has batted at a .375 pace with 30 hits, 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 22 times. |   |
