Thursday, April 18th, 2013: Looking like he hadn't slept in 24 hours, fired Washington State Cougars manager Kiyomori Shimizu met the media before heading back to his hometown. Shimizu was fired by the Cougars general manager today. "It stinks. It's miserable. I hate it," Shimizu said. "But that's baseball. I'm sure there's a silver lining here somewhere. I'll call you guys when I find it."
