 | 5 Hits for Jayhawks Bruton Sunday, April 14th, 2013: The Kansas Jayhawks upended the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Castles Ballpark today in large part to center fielder Don Bruton, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and help propel the Jayhawks to a 14-7 victory. Don Bruton hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Bruton has hit .273 with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |   |
