 | BOL's Premier Starter is Corbett Saturday, September 1st, 2012: In August, Alan Corbett tore through the Buck O'Neil League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 21 years old. The young Barrow starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 1.36 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 46.1 innings he collected 42 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .194 average. Corbett has made 23 starts this season, posting 14 wins and 5 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .230 against him and he has 132 strikeouts in 145 innings with a 2.48 ERA. |   |
