 | Juan Aguilera Hurt, Out 13-14 Months Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012: Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Victoria Vikings, Mustangs starting pitcher Juan Aguilera was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13-14 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The San Angelo skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
This season-to-date, Aguilera has fashioned a 7-3 mark and 3.16 ERA in 99.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .194 against him and he has logged 73 strikeouts. |   |
