 | BOL Honors Victoria Center Fielder Monday, August 20th, 2012: Steve Sherman must have thought he died and went to heaven this week. First he went on a remarkable batting rampage, hammering the ball at a .600 clip, then the Victoria center fielder finds outs he has been voted the league's top performer and gets the BOL Player of the Week Award. For the week Sherman batted .600 (6-10) with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. So far this season, Sherman has recorded a .266 batting average with 58 hits, 15 home runs, 39 RBIs, 36 runs scored and a .358 OBP. |   |
