 | Coney Island Reliever Hurt Wednesday, August 15th, 2012: It was announced today in Coney Island that Cyclones reliever Jason Crowder will be out 12-13 months. Crowder suffered a damaged elbow ligament that occurred during a game against the Penzance Pirates.
This season Crowder has chalked up a 3.40 ERA while ringing up no saves with no wins and 2 losses. He has made 29 relief appearances, pitching 50.1 innings, giving up 42 hits, and holding opponents to a .227 batting average. Crowder has also recorded 49 strikeouts and allowed 20 walks. |   |
