 | AHL Star of the Week Named Monday, July 2nd, 2012: When it came to hitting the baseball, Dwayne Sparks had few peers in the August Herrman League this past week. The talented first baseman for Bethesda tagged opposing pitchers for a .520 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 homers, 7 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Currently Sparks is batting .297 with 13 home runs and 62 RBIs. |   |
