 | Condulmaro Spins No-Hitter Friday, June 15th, 2012: In a dominant outing, Sal Condulmaro of Barrow totally silenced the bats of the New Orleans Jedi Knights. In the 4-0 victory he faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 6 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"I'll be very honest with you," his manager said. "I didn't know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning. I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had. Then I happened to notice that they didn't have any hits."
Commenting on his defeat, the losing manager told reporters in the clubhouse how he saw the game, "Well, it was pretty simple today, the Frosties had all the hits and all the runs. And Condulmaro pitched a heck of a ballgame."
This season Condulmaro has fanned 96 in 87.1 innings and collected a 7-2 record with a 1.03 ERA. | |
