 | Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Thursday, June 14th, 2012: There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at The Republic. Both dugouts emptied when New Orleans's Sean MacGruder and Barrow's Carlos Calderón scuffled with one another after some heated words.
In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 10 games.
MacGruder is batting .207 this season in 20 games with 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 58 at-bats.
