 | AHL Starter of the Month Goes to Mills Friday, June 1st, 2012: Over the past month Ted Mills has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the August Herrman League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Bethesda Hornets posted 6-0 mark and a 0.88 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 41 innings, permitted 25 hits and fanned 45 batters. For the year Mills has compiled a 9-0 record with a 0.83 ERA. |   |
