Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012: The Sabercats received bad news this morning. Manuel Arévalo will miss 7-8 months due to a torn labrum. In the Huntsville-Cherry Hill game he sustained the injury while making a defensive play. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Arévalo sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
Thus far this year Arévalo is batting .243 with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
