 | AHL Star of the Week Named Monday, May 14th, 2012: It was a fantastic week for Whitewater second baseman Gabriel Cervantes and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the August Herrman League Player of the Week Award. Last week Cervantes hammered the ball at a torrid .476 pace, going 10-21 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this season Cervantes is hitting .212 with 2 home runs. |   |
