 | Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, April 30th, 2012: Tempers were flaring yesterday at Woodland Park. Both the Sting and Hornets were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Houston's Rob Nolan and Bethesda's Tom Green were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Nolan and Green for 6 games each. This year Nolan has batted at a .292 pace with 7 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 4 times. This season Green has fanned 43 in 37 innings and collected a 3-1 record with a 0.97 ERA. |   |
