 | Frosties Lose Bourdon for 6-7 Months Wednesday, October 9th, 2013: "I'm frustrated right now," said Barrow reliever Phil Bourdon. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Frosties, that's where he will be spending 6-7 months. Bourdon suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in today's game against Bethesda while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
Thus far this season Bourdon has compiled a 2-1 record, made 23 relief appearances with 3 saves, hurling 25.1 innings and striking out 28. He has held the opposition to a .123 batting average with a 0.36 ERA. | |
