 | Morín 5-5 for Victoria Friday, October 4th, 2013: No matter what the Barrow Frosties threw at him today, Ramón Morín hit it. He easily handled Frosties pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Vikings to a 5-1 triumph at The Blizzard Bowl. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Barrow skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Ramón Morín hit a solo-shot off Franck Bourgoin in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Bob Todd in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Morín has hit .245 with 10 home runs and 46 RBIs. |   |
