 | Drug Test Positive, League Suspends Kurihara 10 Games Tuesday, September 17th, 2013: Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an official in the league office confirmed that Whitewater reliever Masaharu Kurihara had been handed a 10-game suspension for testing positive to a banned substance. The suspension will go into effect immediately. Neither the league, nor Kurihara would comment on the suspension. During this season Kurihara has delivered 7 saves. In 37 relief appearances, he has 37 strikeouts in 46 innings with a 3.91 ERA and 5 wins and 4 losses. |   |
