 | Rosa Socks it to Blue Claws, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, September 16th, 2013: It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Juan Rosa. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Rosa went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Baltimore pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Old Bay Park, he had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Barrow Frosties had a 21-2 victory over the Blue Claws. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Juan Rosa doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Rosa has hit .178 with 5 home runs, 38 RBIs and scored 35 times. |   |
