 | Chapman Gives Kingwood Goose Eggs Thursday, September 12th, 2013: Jesse Chapman pitched a strong game in blanking the Kingwood Knights 1-0, allowed no runs on 2 hits, totaled 12 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk. The Winfield manager said he could tell right away it was going to be a good game for Chapman. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," he said. "He threw a lot of strikes." Chapman has gone 15-12 this season with an ERA of 2.23 and 242 strikeouts in 222.1 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .182 against him. |   |
