 | Walden Fashions Shutout Against Coney Island Sunday, July 21st, 2013: The Coney Island Cyclones met their match today in Winfield hurler Roy Walden. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the Coney Island skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 5-0 victory Walden whiffed 6 and gave up 2 walks. For the year Walden has compiled a 7-9 record with a 3.28 ERA. |   |
