Sunday, July 7th, 2013: Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Domeneco Sonnino of the Frosties knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Las Vegas Lost while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, the Barrow starting pitcher is expected to miss 13 months. Sonnino was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
In 16 starts this season Sonnino has notched a 3-6 record and a 2.92 ERA.
