Edgar Márquez put together a very solid month to take home the Buck O'Neil League's top pitching honor in June. The 18-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 14 relief appearances he raked in 9 saves and 12 strikeouts in 13.1 innings as he put together his 4-1 record and 2.03 ERA. This season Márquez has worked 33.2 innings in 34 relief appearances and picked up 19 saves. He has dished out 27 strikeouts and walked 20 with a 7-3 mark and a 2.41 ERA. |   |
