 | Venegas Twirls Saints to Shutout Win Sunday, June 30th, 2013: In an outstanding outing, Domingo Venegas tamed Coney Island on a 3-hit shutout. The St. Paul hurler went the distance, finishing with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 5-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Coney Island manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." This year Venegas has fanned 38 in 52.2 innings and collected a 3-5 record with a 2.56 ERA. |   |
