He was the King of Swing in the game against the Cyclones, but his Jedi Knights were beaten 3-2 anyway. The New Orleans left fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Coney Island and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. It felt great on the one hand, but a downer at the same time. 5-for-7! It does wonders for your batting average. But it's a shame we couldn't win it, too." Júlio García grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th, flied out in the 11th and singled in the 14th.
