 | Carroll Earns AHL Player of the Week Monday, May 6th, 2013: 23-year-old Pat Carroll made a few Huntsville headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 15 at-bats to put up a .467 average. Carroll collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This season Carroll is batting .346 with 16 RBIs, 10 runs scored and 5 home runs. |   |
