Wednesday, May 1st, 2013: There's something about a young rookie winning the Buck O'Neil League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Paul Cunningham, a 22-year-old starter for the Winfield Warriors.
In April, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 0.55 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 49 innings, fanned 50 and held opposing teams to a .091 average.
