 | Best Hurler Award Presented by ACL Thursday, November 1st, 2012: The Cy Young Award for 2012 has been presented and the Alexander Cartwright League winner is Hollis Byrne of Jacksonville. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Byrne. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hellcats star told reporters. Byrne excelled with an impressive 19-6 record in 36 starts. In 232 innings he yielded 186 hits and 62 walks, while striking out 233 and compiling a fine 2.64 ERA. |   |
