 | Star of the Week Honored in FFL Monday, September 17th, 2012: So far in his young career, Francis Bailey has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old New York Ninjas catcher hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season, Bailey has recorded a .298 batting average with 77 hits, 13 home runs, 48 RBIs, 47 runs scored and a .428 OBP. |   |
