 | Alexander Cartwright League Announces Top Starter Saturday, September 1st, 2012: Over the past month Luis López has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Alexander Cartwright League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Riverside Red Bulls posted 5-1 mark and a 1.83 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 39.1 innings, permitted 28 hits and fanned 33 batters. This year López has recorded a 15-4 mark. In 23 starts he has fanned 123 batters in 146.1 innings with a 2.52 ERA. |   |
