Friday, August 24th, 2012: Disappointing news today for Phoenix Lights fans. Bogumil Bielenda was hurt making a defensive play in their game against the Wichita Wolverines and has a torn labrum. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the center fielder out at least 10 months.
For the season Bielenda is hitting .283, batted in 52 runs with 2 home runs and 108 runs scored.
