 | Green Named Top ACL Hurler Wednesday, August 1st, 2012: There's something about a young rookie winning the Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Tom Green, a 26-year-old starter for the Jacksonville Hellcats. In July, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 1.65 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 43.2 innings, fanned 42 and held opposing teams to a .177 average. Checking out his stats for the year, Green has racked up 9 wins and 3 losses in 17 starts, 2.49 ERA and struck out 109 batters in 112 innings. |   |
