 | FFL Top Batter Trophy Won by Escobar Wednesday, August 1st, 2012: Even though he is a newcomer to Double A, José Escobar put up some good numbers in July and earned the FFL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Murfreesboro's offensive leaders with a .363 average in 25 games. He also racked up 10 home runs, 28 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. This year Escobar is hitting .320 with 22 home runs and 71 RBIs in 94 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .399 with 43 walks and 59 runs scored. |   |
