Sunday, July 29th, 2012: Earlier today, Jacksonville first baseman Juan Quintana had to leave the game against Riverside because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a broken kneecap and will miss 4 months of play. Quintana was hurt running the bases and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians.
During the current season Quintana is batting at a .335 clip with 16 home runs and 75 RBIs. He has played in 105 games and scored 77 times.
