Monday, July 16th, 2012: It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Fraser Wagner of the Long Island Ducks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wagner rocked opposing pitching for a .563 average (9-16), 1 home run and 8 RBIs to come away with the award.
So far on the season Wagner is hitting .426 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 26 hits and played in 27 games.
