 | Johnson 6-7 for Lake of the Isles Saturday, June 30th, 2012: It was a parade of hits for Glenn Johnson of the Lake of the Isles Wolves... one right after another... a total of 6 for the day. He ravaged the Asheville Tourists for 6 hits in his 7 at-bats and propelled the Wolves to a 16-7 victory. "Johnson was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Tourists manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Glenn Johnson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a three-run double in the 9th. In 43 games this season Johnson has batted at a .345 pace with 20 hits and no home runs. |   |
